The Context: From manual to digital, optimising internal processes
The client is one of the first national points of contact for disputes between customers and energy suppliers. The company, with several locations throughout Italy, has a manual legal process involving several parties with different levels of responsibility.
The management wanted to digitise the process and create a management system based on the rules of legal practice, taking into account the specificities of the energy sector and the needs of the various users. Our teams partnered with internal stakeholders to accompany them from the early design stages to production release.
Methodology: A shadowing process
In-depth analysis
We started with an in-depth analysis of the different components involved in legal practices, identifying the critical points that required automation. This allowed us to develop a clear vision of the challenges and opportunities in the process.
Design and Automation
With a comprehensive understanding of the firm’s activities, we proceeded to design automated workflows. These flows were created with the aim of simplifying the operator’s work and enabling more efficient and faster handling of legal files. The automation was implemented in such a way as to optimise the entire lifecycle and ensure a smooth and intuitive user experience.
Development phase
The development phase was carried out directly on the customer’s hosting environment, with test and production environments configured by our team. This choice ensured a smooth transition from the old to the new system. This phase resulted in a customised management software that was fully integrated into the daily operations of the law firm.
Security and data management
Security and data management were key considerations in the implementation of the project. Best practices and protocols were adopted to ensure the protection of sensitive information. Security was built into every stage of software development, giving the client the confidence to manage legal issues.
Technological Stack
To ensure a modern, high performance application, we selected Angular (JS) for the front-end and Laravel (PHP) for the back-end. This combination provided a solid architecture, facilitating maintenance and ensuring a flawless user experience.
